Concentricity

Concentricity is a transport logistics system in which the material is transported on the outbound leg and the finished product is taken along on the return leg.

In this way, empty transports can be avoided and the mode of transport can be optimally utilised. Several suppliers can also be approached on one tour and then supplied to the processing plant. This system is called collective circular tour transports.

Often transport companies try to better utilize the routes of truck transporters, so that it also comes to the fact that different goods cycles take place on one route.
